This ergonomic and robotic designed compact gram stainer ideal for low-to-medium volume laboratories. The iodine solution act as a mordant that caused the crystal violet to penetrates and adhere to the mycobacterial cells. Then acid-alcohol solution acts as a decolorizer to wash the stain from the smear and keep only bacterial cells. The methyl blue is the counterstain that stains the smear, and help in achieving the automatic detection of cells.
